There are a number of rules and regulations that apply to operating Access Platforms safely, chief among these rules is LOLER, (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). Any business operating lifting equipment at work is required to comply with these regulations, which come under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Thorough Examination (LOLER Inspections)
Access Platforms require a Thorough Examination (LOLER) every six months by law. The skilled technicians at Caledonian Access carry out more Thorough Examinations on Access Platforms in Scotland than any other company.
